ITEMS / TOOLS NEEDED - STURDY TABLE - MASKING TAPE - SHARP RAZOR BLADE OR EXACTO BLADE - RUBBING ALCOHOL AND WATER MIXTURE, 50/50 EQUAL AMOUNT - WINDOW CLEANER STEP ONE Prepping your board. File down any knicked edges that stick out. The top of your edge should be as smooth as you can get it. (We recommend even giving or getting a tune-up for your board). Pull off any and all stickers. Use the 50/50 alcohol/water mixture to get any leftover gunk off your board. Wipe down entire board again with a window cleaner or all purpose cleaner. Your board should be completely clean. STEP TWO Position your decal over the top of your board. Lay decal flat and centered.
STEP THREE Using your masking tape, tape down the decal at center of board to your table. This will hold your decal in place. Use more tape for better hold.
STEP FOUR Starting on one end of your board, peel off decal from backing. Then cut off the excess.
STEP FIVE Holding the end of the decal, use your other hand (or squeegee) to begin laying the decal down onto your board. Take your time and try to avoid as many air bubbles as possible. Also be careful not to let the decal stick to itself. Slowly finish laying down the decal until the end of the board.
STEP SIX Pull the masking tape off from.
STEP SEVEN Holding the decal from the reverse end, begin pulling off the backing from the edge you cut in step four. Slowly keep pulling off the backing and keep laying down the decal with your other hand. Repeat process until you finish to the end.
STEP EIGHT Go over the decal pressing down to make sure the decal is flat across the entire board. Press down firmly on all edges. Making sure the edges are flat is most important.
STEP NINE Using your blade, begin cutting excess trim off from edge. Run the blade on an angle down the edge of the board. Its ok to cut pieces off one at a time.
STEP TEN Time to get the air bubbles out. Using either a pin or the point of your exacto knife poke holes into the air pockets and rub the air out. Try to get as many of these as possible.
Thats it! Your finished. Let the decal set for 24 hours at room temperature. Then go ride!
